FPT Digital COO Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy and the FPT leadership team journeyed back to the source, respectfully offered incense to show gratitude, and joined hands to plant 35 yellow apricot trees at the General’s resting place. Vo Nguyen Giap.
Taking the theme “Come here to plant trees”, FPT people together planted the first 35 yellow apricot trees (with the meaning of celebrating the 35th anniversary of the establishment of FPT Group) out of a total of 103 trees – according to the General’s lifespan, creating the apricot garden right on the path leading to the campus.
In a solemn atmosphere, FPT General Director Nguyen Van Khoa and 35 representatives of the Group’s leaders and employees thurified, expressed deep gratitude to General Vo Nguyen Giap at his resting place in Vung Chua – Yen Island, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province.
After the ceremony, the journey continued with the yellow apricot planting activity. Ms. Vo Hanh Phuc, the General’s daughter, and her family members meticulously told the group about the reasons why the General wanted to rest in Vung Chua, introducing the beauty and changes of the land.
Despite the obstacles of the weather, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, FPT Digital COO, is still careful with each shovel of soil, taking care of the newly planted apricot tree. Everyone was very happy and proud to contribute a small part to beautifying the grounds of the General’s resting place.
The whole group was excited about the result after nearly 1 hour of hard work, 35 yellow apricot trees will lay the foundation for a blooming apricot garden, adorning the campus.
